Blue Planet Lighting Recognized As ESTA Dealer Member

Blue Planet Lighting has been accepted as a full Dealer Member with ESTA. It's another step forward in 2008 for Blue Planet as they continue to strive to provide the best in entertainment lighting gear and services to the industry.

ESTA members supply a broad spectrum of products and services to the industry and range from large corporations to individual designers. Members include dealers, manufacturers, manufacturer's representatives, distributors, service and production companies, scenic houses, designers and consultants.

ESTA provides a wide variety of services to its members in the areas of education and information exchange, member promotion, trade show participation, reduced costs on business services, and credit assistance. Our ANSI accredited Technical Standards program is the leading standards making program for the entertainment technology industry. ESTA is also bringing the industry together for the development and implementation of the Entertainment Technician Certification Program. Very exciting is the recent work of the Technical Education Program which is tasked to create and define the body of knowledge for entry level entertainment technicians as well as provide core programming for our members including workshops and hand-on training sessions.

Blue Planet Lighting has recently wrapped up their 2nd year in business and are stepping up their run as the Midwest's PREMIERE Lighting Suppliers. BPL was also recently awarded PLSN Magazine's Midwest Hometown Hero Award for the 2nd Consecutive Year.
