Sotiropoulos Dominates Roop at UFC 101
August 13, 2009 - Hollister, Missouri
George Sotiropoulos looked sharp and ready to dominate at UFC 101. And dominate he did. Sotiropoulos never let up or gave Roop a window to really get into his rhythm.

"There's no such thing as ring rust if you're sharpening your tools every day," Sotiropoulos said. "I know I was better than him on the ground. He was strong in the first round, but he started to show signs of wear and tear. He was good at defending his arms, but he spent a lot of energy defending it."

Sotiropoulos moves to an outstanding 10-2 professional record and extends his win-streak to four in a row over opponents Jung Hwan Cha, Billy Miles, Roman Mitichyan and the aforementioned Roop.

Blue Planet sends a big congrats out to George and his camp on another great win in the octagon. George remains undefeated in the UFC and will be fighting again soon after his excellent performance and pay per view showing.
