November 14, 2012 - Austin, Texas
High End Systems and Light Converse announced the formation of a strategic partnership during LDI 2012. Effective immediately, all three Hog4™ family consoles will ship with a LIGHTCONVERSE OEM license giving the user advanced visualization out of the box.
Hog4™ and Full Boar4™ will ship with LIGHTCONVERSE Media OEM which includes 96 universes of visualization along with video inputs and programmable effects. Road Hog4™ will ship with LIGHTCONVERSE Design OEM, which provides 32 universes of visualization.
Both packages provide a fully-functional user license that is shipped along with each new console purchased Hog4™. There are no yearly upgrades or license fee requirements as all software upgrades will be downloadable free-of-charge to HES new controller owners.
This partnership alongside the extremely successful Hog4™ family launch at the LDI 2012 trade show in Las Vegas this month offers our customers a total solution to their lighting visualization and control needs.
“This partnership is not solely based on product offering but on future expandability,” says Chris Ferrante, Hog Product Manager. “We are already starting work on exciting features in partnership with Light Converse which will further add value to both products. We have a roadmap of where we would like to be and will be working hard in the coming months to increase the integration between control and visualization. We are very excited to have signed this agreement with Light Converse, as it is adding huge amount of value to our customers.”
“Partnering with High End Systems and the Hog family of products is an exciting step in our company evolution,” added Aleksandr Berenok, General Manager of Light Converse Ltd. “Hog is a leading innovator in DMX control and this new family of products provides a significant advance in terms of simplifying show creation and programming. This is a direction that we are proud to be part of. Even more exciting is where we can take the partnership and innovation from here."
