ETC Unison Echo

New Product: ETC Unison Echo

June 3, 2014 - Middleton, Wisconsin

At the Lightfair tradeshow, June 3rd to 5th, in Las Vegas, ETC released a new architectural lighting control system in the Unison family. User controls in the Echo system include sleek Inspire™ faceplates with user-configurable buttons for preset or custom lighting looks, Light Sensors that harness natural light, and Occupancy Sensors that automatically detect occupancy or vacancy, cutting down on wasted energy.

ETC Unison Echo

The Echo family also features power-control products that come in panel and distributed versions for room- and zone-based lighting. Zone and Relay Controllers can raise and lower lighting levels without complex commissioning.

Intelligent, independently-controlled power is within your reach – and it doesn’t have to break the bank. Whether you need simple on/off functionality or occupancy or daylight sensors, Unison® Echo™ is your go-to lighting solution.

The Echo control system was developed to help lighting systems meet growing energy codes, including ASHRAE 90.1, CA Title 20/24 and IECC, and to maximize energy savings. With a flexible infrastructure and topology-free wiring, Echo requires minimum commissioning, at a low overall cost.

Inspire™ Control Stations
These EchoConnect-powered stations are designed to initiate control for your entire system. They communicate efficiently with zone controllers, relays, panels and other devices to provide support for any load type. You can choose your level of control with a variety of button and fader stations created with your solutions in mind.

Responsive Controls
Echo Responsive Controls are the pinnacle of energy-saving technology. By automatically assessing the light or occupancy of a room, artificial lighting can then be reduced, saving power and reducing cost, while maintaining the right lighting levels.

Zone and Panel Power Controls
Echo Zone Controllers respond to Echo Control Stations and provide relay or dimming functions for their local zones. Panels can separate circuits into multiple spaces for independent control within each room, while supporting Ethernet uplinks to the larger system for building control and reporting.
