FEBRUARY 2009 FEATURED GIG 2009 ABA CONVENTION January 10, 2009 - Charlotte, NC
Last month Blue Planet Lighting was called on once again to light Branson's portion of the ABA Convention. This is the fourth consecutive year BPL has provided the lighting programming and operation package for this event.
The Branson portion of the ABA Convention showcased a lineup of various Branson performers including Lee Greenwood, Cathy Rigby, Yakov Smirnoff, The Hayoods, Legend's In Concert's own Marilyn Monroe and many more.
The show was lit for video as well as for the thousands in attendance so a mix of conventional and intelligent lighting was used including Martin Moving Lights, a multitude of LED's, ACL's and a semi of trussing and parbars.
The Branson portion of the convention was lit by Kelly Koster of Blue Planet Lighting on the High End Systems Hog iPC Console. A pair of Robert Juliat Followspots were used to highlight the entertainers.
